Planning a magical evening can feel daunting: where do you start, which acts should you choose, and how do you spot a true professional? Which style of magic best suits your guests? Where should a show be performed? What about timing, logistics and budget?

1. How many guests will attend your event?

This is the first question, because the number of guests shapes everything else. For a small gathering (2 to 15 people), a parlour magic show performed for the whole group creates an intimate, jaw-dropping atmosphere. From a few dozen guests upwards, close-up magic weaving between the groups works wonders. Beyond that, a stage show brings everyone together in the same shared emotion.

2. Where will your event take place?

Our magicians travel all over France and internationally. Ideally, you would choose an artist from our troupe based near your venue, to avoid travel and accommodation costs. It is also the moment to think about the venue itself: private lounge, function room, marquee, offices... each setting calls for a different format, and we know the constraints of every one of them.

3. How old are your guests?

The number one rule of a good magician is to adapt to the audience. You do not perform the same acts for children, teenagers or adults. Mentalism, for instance, is especially fascinating for adults, while a birthday party calls for an artist well versed in entertaining young audiences. 4. Which format of magic should you choose?

Two great families cover most events. Close-up magic, performed just inches from your guests' eyes, moves from table to table and breaks the ice like nothing else. A stage show creates a collective highlight, from visual acts to a full-scale mentalism performance. The two combine beautifully within a single evening: close-up during the cocktail reception, then a show after dinner.

5. Do you already have a magician in mind?

You came across an artist at an event or on television and they left a lasting impression? Tell us, it is the best possible starting point. And if they are not available on your date, describe what you loved about them: their humour, their elegance, their warmth with the audience. Among the sixty or so artists of our troupe, we will find a magician with a similar approach.

6. Dreaming of a particular speciality?

Pickpocketing, digital magic on tablets, mentalism, balloon twisting, grand illusions... There are dozens of specialities, and perhaps one you have always dreamed of offering your guests. All you have to do is choose: we will find you that rare gem, and we will tell you honestly if a discipline is not suited to your setting.

7. What budget should you plan for?

The fee for a magic performance depends on many factors: the type of magic, the duration, the artist's reputation, bespoke effects, the distance to travel. Rather than publishing price grids that mean nothing, we prefer to start from your budget and offer you the best possible performance within it.
