This type of act makes cinema-worthy special effects possible on stage.

Two acts are particularly renowned:

"Les Chapeaux Blancs", a unique visual black theatre act telling the marvellous adventures of two characters in white costumes against a black background, a duel of illusions… a pure moment of magic in touches of black and white.

and "Omar Pasha", famous throughout the world, in which objects and people appear, disappear and change places at the magician's whim, all in full view of the audience and without any wheeled equipment operated by assistants. He even goes so far as to make himself disappear. With him, the impossible becomes possible. Like a fairy tale, this dream unfolds in a magical choreography, in the manner of an oriental engraving, accompanied by the spellbinding music of Ravel's Boléro, in a setting of red light.
